National Seminar and Workshop on Copyright Awareness and Production and Utilisation of "Asian Copyright Handbook"
Dhaka, Bangladesh, 20-22 November 2007
ACCU, the Copyright Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Academic and Creative Publishers Association of Bangladesh and the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan jointly organized the Seminar and Workshop. Eight speakers from Australia, India, Japan and Bangladesh provided lectures to about 80 local participants including administrators, publishers, writers, musicians, journalists, etc. In group work sessions, around 60 selected participants discussed issues on copyright and promotion of copyright awareness from various perspectives. |

National Training Seminar on Copyright Awareness,
Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia, 8-10 October 2008
ACCU and the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of the Kingdom of Cambodia co-organised "National Training Seminar on Copyright Awareness" in Phnom Penh in co-operation with UNESCO, funded by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan.
More than 70 participants including local copyright administration officers, publishers, creators, competent authority institutes, private companies, composers, performers, legislative lecturers from universities and NGOs attended the seminar.
Local and international experts from Australia, Japan and Malaysia gave lectures.
In the sessions, participants learned essential points in their copyright law and eagerly shared issues and problems. |
