ASPBAE Regional Workshops 2006-2007

ASPBAE organised an Asia–South Pacific regional education advocacy capacity building workshop in Chiang Mai from 3-8 December 2006 for 35 representatives from 11 national coalitions, including from PNG Education Advcacy Network (PEAN) and Coalition for Education Solomon Islands (COESI). This was an opportunity also for PEAN and COESI to strengthen the survey design and implementation plans for each coalition as well as plan advocacy strategies.Two further events (Mumbai 1-3 March and Bali 28-31 May) for consultations that brought together a smaller group of representatives involved in education watch surveys in the Asia Pacific region.
