DAM Introduction - Needs Assessment and Stakeholders’ Workshop at the Union Level

Field-level activities will be implemented in Satkhira District, a remote southwestern coastal district of Bangladesh. The needs will be assessed in consultation with the Research Unit of DAM for re-orienting environmental education and social services for sustainable development. Necessary tools will be developed by research experts and a team of researchers will collect data from the project sites using the tools. The collected data will be analyzed by the research experts and prepare a report which will be treated as the baseline survey of the project.

Workshops will be organized at the Union level with participation of the community people, local government authority and development organizations on sustainable development of the total community. The role and responsibilities of community people, local government authority and development organizations will be identified during the workshop.
