Existing training manuals and teaching-learning materials on environmental issues in Bangladesh will be reviewed through a workshop participating environmental experts to avoid duplication of development. Materials Development Unit of DAM will organize & conduct the workshop. Existing training manuals and teaching learning materials will be purchased for the workshop.
Training manuals will be developed for the education providers, local government authorities & stakeholders and community action groups to develop their capacity on educational sustainable development. Content of the training will be identified according to the needs of sustainable development and in the gaps of core sectors of DAM.
Teaching-learning materials on environmental issues will be developed as per the gaps identified in four core sectors of DAM and according to the needs of the target groups & environmental issues. Four types of (poster, chart and folders) materials will be developed for training & awareness-raising. One audio-visual material will be developed for mass awareness-raising at different level in project sites on ESD.
