The community-based project will be mainstreamed at five sub-districts, a district and national level on the basis of experiences from Union level. To this end, workshops will be organized at the sub-district, district, and national level in Bangladesh.
National-level activities of the project will be implemented from the central office of Dhaka Ahsania Mission in the Dhaka City. Sharing of project experiences at the Asia-Pacific regional level will be made through the Bangladesh Literacy Resource Centre (BLRC), located at the central Office of DAM.
The DAM’s COE project has the opportunity to create collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region through sharing lessons of implementing ESD programmes among the national and regional stakeholders. As DAM is already active in the EFA regional bodies, it can make available its field experiences in the region through the platform of ACCU-UNESCO by linking the Community Resource Centre with the BLRC-based web-portal. Community level initiatives can be directly accessed through the portal. This would also facilitate interaction and cultural exchange among the communities beyond boundaries. It can contribute in formulating regional planning, improving policies, practices, exchange of knowledge and expertise. Through the web-portal established under this project there can be exchange effective field experiences for adaptation.
