A three day long stakeholder training workshops at the ESD project sites were organized by DAM from 2 - 4 June 2008. The training were conducted by the training unit of DAM using the training manual developed under the project. 5 batches of traiing were organized and 20 representatives from different organizations/institutions were participated in each training. Training contents were ESD issues, local environmental problems, possible activities to be carried on to solve the current situation of the environment, environment friendly agriculture, climate change & its effect, increase salinity & its effect etc. Each of the training prepared a plan for future actvities to promote ESD issues at the comunity level.
