USP Introduction - Teacher Education (Component 1)

Under the USP COE Project, the School of Education has identified teacher education as its main thrust, particularly the preparation of teachers as well as the sustaining of their education/knowledge bases and pedagogy through capacity building initiatives. Further, resource materials will also be developed to be used by teacher educators and students. The specific focus will include four key areas:

  • Basic Education (Early Childhood Education, Primary)
  • Secondary/Tertiary education
  • Indigenous Education and Development
  • Pacific Arts and Cultures
