YESP initiative is an added value to the Youth Leadership Course to strengthen the calls made by the young people. Simply put, stewardship is the concept of responsibly managing all of our resources for the benefit of present and future generations of people, plants, and animals. The intended CCE stewardship programs similar to other short term CCE Courses will be cost-effective and actually save money, in comparison to CCE tri-semester courses. The intended philosophy of YESP is “You people can Make a Difference”. YESP thematic areas will include, water, energy, recycling and planting targeting primary, secondary, college and tertiary students mainly in urban centres. It is intended this project will be implemented jointly with Live and Learn a very active regional environmental education non governmental organization based in Fiji with offices in Vanuatu, PNG, Solomon Islands and Australia.
