Rally on Literacy Day

In order to raise awareness among the community people on ESD components such as waste management, alternative energy, tree plantation and forest conservation etc, the CLCs have been organizing different awareness-raising activities. The CLCs have been celebrating different international days like literacy day, HIV/ AIDs day, Environment day, Women’s Day etc by organizing different awareness raising programs like mass meeting, song & dance competitions among the learners and groups, rally, quiz contest etc.

Those activities have helped a lot to make the community people aware of their own benefit and to improve the environment situation of the community. The CLCs are going to organize cleanliness campaign; rallies, video show program in the CLCs on the occasion of environment
day of the year 2007.
