Children with disabilities lack the realization of their educational needs on the basis of the rehabilitation approach.

The objectives of the project are following:

1. creation of a flexible and variable system of education taking into account special needs;
2. decentralization of educational management of the basis of increasing role of regional and local educational structures;
3. creation of the conditions for the earliest diagnosis and detection of handicapped children;
4. qualitative renovation of the content of education for children with special needs on the bases of the national educational standards;
5. strengthening of the material-technical base of educational institutions;
6. qualitative renovation and development of the professional preparation of handicapped children;
7. broadening and strengthening of cooperation with foreign partners in the field of education of children with special needs;
8. to start publication of different textbooks, methodical literature for blind children;
9. to provide wheelchairs for disabled children, special earphones and glasses, sport equipment, labour equipment, stationary, special beds and medical equipment;
10. personnel training.

The main activities are:

1. Organisation of National seminar on "Inclusive Education for Sustainable Development"
2. Creation of Medical-Psychological-Pedagogical commission on examination of children with development defects. Early detection of deviations from norms of children (3-7 years old) for teaching in integrative groups, classes
3. Conducting training for pedagogue-educators, teachers, psychologists on preparation for work in integrative groups, classes on correctional-developing programs;
4. Publication of methodical recommendations, manuals, and programs;
5. Creation of experimental special groups in two kindergartens and two secondary schools for introduction of inclusive education on the basis of existing children-teaching establishments; Providing technical assistance;
6. Organization of scientific-methodical practical Regional Conference in order to help pre-school establishment of inclusive education and dissemination of practical experience in inclusive education on correctional programs.

Our mission goes along with the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and includes: introduction of inclusive education into the educational system of Uzbekistan by organizing different seminars, workshops for teachers and pedagogues who work with disabled children; development of learning materials for children with special needs; creation of experimental playgrounds for children with special needs; creation of individual plan of development for a child; consulting pedagogues; development of methodical manuals, recommendations, curriculum for work with children in terms of inclusive schools; consulting parents; rendering information on legal acts and social guarantees; cooperation with public and state organizations working in the area of education of children with special needs; promotion of problems of children's education with special needs in mass media; cooperation with international organizations; implementation of experience in inclusive education.
