Organizational background and history:
Established in 1991 with an acute insight to preserve Nepalese art, culture and civilization, Sadhana Kala Kendra, a government registered and recognized music school, has experienced so far nine springs in serving the rays of knowledge in the various fields of music, song and dance to the thousands of minds by the expert hands and even in dedicating varieties of colourful programmes to the various parts of the country. It has been able to enjoy the name, fame and a wide range of collection of modern musical ideas and instruments as well.
Outstanding activities:
In the presence of Right Honourable Prime Minister Shen Bahadur Deuna, the chief guest, Sadhana Kala Kendra, in accordance with the unanimous decision of a committee honoured the various heads with Sadhana awards in 1996 and 1997. In celebration of the auspicious Silver Jubilee Occasion of His Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shaha Deu's accession to the royal throne, this music school organized nationwide folk dance competition in 1997 and 1998.
