Invitation Programme for Teachers from the People’s Republic of China successfully concluded. More teachers will visit Japan in November and December.
59 Chinese primary and secondary teachers who visited Japan from 20 October 2013 departed from Kansai International Airport on 28 October. During their stay they had chances to have exchanges with students and Japanese teachers at schools, visited Japanese families and cultural sites, and deepened understanding in Japanese education, culture and society.
ACCU is entrusted by the United Nations University to carry out this programme under 2013-2014 International Educational Exchange Programme. Since 2002, more than 1250 teachers visited Japan by the end of October 2013.
More Chinese teachers will visit Japan in this programme in November and December. The next group consisting of 50 members will arrive in Japan on 13 November and stay for 12 days, and visit schools and cultural/educational sites mainly in the Tokyo area.
