The major development Objectives of the three-year project
are to:

Increase functional literacy opportunities for Muslim
women and girls; |

Strengthen the capacities of local NGOs to plan,
implement and evaluate female functional literacy programmes and
activities; |

Enhance cooperation and collaboration between government
and NGOs on issues related to girls' and women's education; and

Sharing resource of and with other agencies involved
in literacy programmes of minority groups; |

Assessing the NGOs' institutional capacities in planning
and management, programme evaluation, coordination and networking
with local organizations; and |

Designing community-based educational and development
programmes. |
