Objectives |
The major objectives of the pilot project on promoting
CLCs are:
 |
To help villagers to increase their income through
various training in agriculture, animal raising and introducing
alternative income-generating activities; |
 |
To reduce illiteracy, maintain literacy and provide
life-long learning opportunities for all people in the community
by organising literacy, post-literacy, equivalency, and quality
of life improvement program; |
 |
To provide information services through establishing
and upgrading libraries; and |
 |
To preserve and enrich villagers' life through
the promotion of socio-cultural and sporting activities. |
