| Qualified personnel in materials
development are much needed in the field of literacy. In response to this
great demand, ACCU has been holding annual regional workshops for specialists
in literacy materials production since 1983, with the main objective of
providing the participants with training experience in developing innovative
and effective learning materials for neo-literates.
In the regional workshops, each of which has a specific topic in themes and target learners. More than 500 key material developers from 21countries were trained. As a follow-up, participants conduct follow-up workshops with a number of experts in their countries to share the experience of the Regional Workshop. |
