PNG Trust Structure:

While the LRC remains an integral part of PNG Trust and is therefore ultimately under the authority of the PNG Trust Board, the policy direction and other related issues fall within the responsibility of the Trust Meri Steering Committee (SC). This can be seen in Figure 2. This SC is an elected body of women within the Trust membership who have automatic membership on the Board of PNG Trust. Through the Trust Meri Coordinator (TMC) and a Management Committee made up of relevant Government and Non-Government agencies, the SC will participate in the development of this unique resource for which all partners, members and agencies working to address literacy needs for women and girls, stand to benefit from.
