The format of this material is very innovative, attractive and useful for the learners. This material contains 8 very important topics regarding environmental issues, which are also common to other countries. In this package learners can find a variety of useful topics on environment issues in one material. Learners have the freedom of choice to read the leaflet they want to know about. This type of format can be used for developing easy materials on any other theme. Information on each topic is appropriate; on the other hand the presentation technique is very simple and attractive, generating further interest to know more. Leaflets can be used to initiate discussion with the learners. Learning information from the leaflets, learners can practice their learning skills in their everyday life. After finalizing the draft of the material, it was again field-tested and feedbacks were incorporated in the final version of the material. |

The material has been distributed in all continuing education centres of Dhaka Ahsania Mission through its distribution channel (Central office to area office and then local area office to continuing education centres by couriers/ messengers/ facilitators). |

Through publicity and distribution mechanism of DAM sales centre and Ahsania Mission Book Distribution House, this material has become available throughout Bangladesh as per demand from user organizations. |

While using this material in the continuing education centres, facilitators hang this material on the CLC wall. Neo- literate learners chose one or more folders as per their interest for reading. The Facilitator can initiate a discussion among the learners on a specific folder or folders. |

This material is being widely used in the DAM CLCs and literacy and continuing education centres of GO & NGOs throughout the country. |

After reading this material, learners of most of the CLCs have raised their demand to read more materials on these issues .In many CLCs learners took collective action on their own to improve their environment. In some CLCs learners developed similar types of leaflets on local important issues and put those leaflets in the pocket of this material. |
