- Worked as Director of Elementary and Secondary Education for the State of Rajasthan managing about 28,000 primary schools, 7,000 middle schools and 1,000 secondary and higher secondary schools. Gave new dimension to library movement and adult education.
- Worked as President of Rajasthan Adult Education Association (RAEA) for 10 years (1988 to 1998), a State level non-profit organization for mobilizing the efforts of all non-profits in the field of adult education.
- Contributed regularly to various journals and newspapers on topics of education, adult education and literacy program
- Presently working as principal advisor , Bhoruka Charitable Trust that is engaged in the programs of literacy, health and uplift of women. I have redesigned the program to involve women in income generating activities along with literacy and health education.

Responsibility
As president of the RAEA, I planned a workshop for the adult educators of India and organized it with the help of ACCU of Japan in 1996 at Jaipur. The entire workshop was organized in my direction and supervision and about 30 adult educators of different NGOs of the country participated in it. Materials prepared in the workshop have been published by the RAEA and have received wide acclaim.

Responsibility
As president of the association, I was responsible for planning the program, devising the strategy and reviewing the progress of the whole project. Primers were produced separately for all the districts and the pioneering work was done in this direction. The trainings were organized for the key workers and trainers of the district and I took part in designing the training program as also in imparting the training. Publication of materials was supervised to ensure quality while keeping a strict check on cost. Publications of the RAEA were among the cheapest in the country . Progress of TLC was reviewed in collaboration with the officers of the government of Rajasthan.

Responsibility
As Principal Advisor of the Trust, I planned and conceived the whole project. Two centers of carpet-weaving have been set up in two villages of Churu District of Rajasthan. About 40 women were trained and are now engaged in weaving carpets of export quality. Marketing tie-up has been established whereby entire production is lifted by the export house. Project has been prepared for setting up 10 more such centers in the same district. Literacy and education has been linked with the income generating activities.
