-	Involved in organizing international seminars at UIE, Hamburg in the 1980s in post-literacy strategies and evaluation in literacy.
-	Provided technical assistance in institutional development to Government of Bangladesh in 1993-95, relating to the establishment of Directorate of NFE and initiated literacy campaigns.
-	Involved in policy decisions in Nepal about literacy and NFE for the last two decades including designing programmes for national literacy campaign, women's education and project evaluation.
