-	Served as the main resource person during the Second Regional Workshop on Non-formal Education Focusing on Out-of-School Children organized by UNESCO.
-	Served as Resource Person on the topics Capability Building for NFE Personnel (focusing on the development of the APPEAL Handbook for Adult NFE Facilitators) and Bridging Formal, Non-formal and Informal Education during the Asia-Pacific Regional Forum for Lifelong Learning and ARTC Annual Meeting, Thailand in 2001.
-	Served as one of the main writers during the Workshop on Developing a Handbook on Teaching-Learning in Non-formal Education organized by UNESCO.
