The princess had many suitors, but she wanted to find her own husband. She was beautiful, wise, and brave. She painted herself black, dressed like a male fighter, and travelled to countries in the east, south, and west. She helped princesses of other countries marry their beloveds. In the north, the princess finally met the man of her dreams and informed him that she was a girl. The prince was very surprised and happy when he saw her face on their wedding day. Her white face was shining as brightly as the sun.
