Founding of Sfax (Natural ink on handcrafted paper)

Outline
The king of Ifrikia (now Tunisia) travelled around the country for a year in disguise to learn the conditions in his country and look after the people. He encountered many adventures and problems. In one place, a poor person helped him and was very generous. Later, the king decided to build a town for him. Using cowhide cut into narrow strips, he created a rope to demarcate the town limits. He asked his loyal attendant Safa to make the rope. Kos means to cut in Arabic. This was how the town of Sfax (Safakos) was born.
