International Exchanges for the Youth

Today, as opportunities to interact with people from diverse cultural backgrounds increase and global issues demand international cooperation, it is more important than ever to understand and respect different cultures and values.
At ACCU, we are actively committed to empowering the next generation to help build a peaceful and sustainable society that respects cultural diversity.

Achievements and Development

ACCU invited high school students from Thailand in 2017 and 2018 as part of the Sakura Science Exchange Program. Through such initiatives, we have implemented international exchange programmes for youth across the Asia-Pacific region, aiming to foster mutual understanding across cultures.
Building on these achievements, since 2021 we have launched a hybrid programme, combining both online and in-person activities, for high school students from five countries: Japan, India, South Korea, Thailand, and Mongolia. This new approach enables participation beyond geographical and time constraints, while placing greater emphasis on developing intercultural communication skills.
