ACCU has published a book titled “Tales of Hope- Grassroots Activities of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Asia and the Pacific”, compiling keynote speeches and case study presentations delivered at the “ACCU-UNESCO Joint Regional Seminar for the Promotion of Education for Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific” held in Tokyo, Japan from 23-25 February 2006. The six case studies, covering the themes such as gender, poverty reduction, disaster preparedness, community development, cultural diversity, and environment education, are reviewed and augmented respectively by experts' commentary from ESD perspectives.
