50 Japanese Teachers Visit the Republic of Korea

With the invitation of the Korean National Comission for UNESCO, 50 Japanese teachers and officials including those from the cities that will host Korean teachers next January, those that hosted this year, and who applied and selected for the invitation will leave Japan for the Republic of Korea on 26 August.

Prior to the programme, on 30 July, the programme orientation was held at United Nations University in Japan. Participants were introduced to education in Korea and prepared for the programme.

This programme will be held from 26 August to 1 September 2014. Participants will be divided into 2 groups and each will visit Gangwon-do (Chuncheon City and Inje District) and Chungcheongbuk-do (Cheongju City, Chungju City). In each place, they will make courtesy calls to Board of Education and visit ASPnet schools and educational facilities. After arriving in Seoul, they will visit Korean National Commission for UNESCO.
