The paper provides useful information on some selected educational indicators and highlights the NFE system established for the education of youth, adults and out-of-school children.


1 Objectives The main Objectives of the project are:
To create community-based learning groups, which are self-sustaining and linked by a nation-wide network; and
To mobilize local and community support through the principle of "For them, By them, With them".

Inadequate resources for advocacy and awareness creation.
Lack of trained CE personnel:
Poor availability of the resource persons to develop teaching-learning materials.
