Contents of this material are: Causes of illness and easy ways to keeping healthy; use of safe water, using a sanitary toilet, brushing teeth, washing both hands well before taking food and after using the toilet etc.
The material is a traditional game called "Ludu", through which learners can gain knowledge and the necessary attitude in an enjoyable way. Through this game, the necessary message of safe water and sanitation can be disseminated among the learners. This game is common in many countries. Any country can develop this type of material easily. This format can be used to develop material on any other issue.
Innovativeness: traditional game adapted for CE material. This material can ensure enjoyable learning and group dynamics. It can be used many times and can create competition during play.
Material Development Process
Following steps were followed during development of this material: Needs assessment, analysis of needs, selection of objectives, selection of contents, selection of format, development of draft material, selection of teaching learning process, editing of material, field testing and preparation of final dummy, printing of material
Distribution & Utilization Process
The material has been distributed in all continuing education centres of Dhaka Ahsania Mission through its distribution channel (Central office to area office and then local areas office to continuing education centers by couriers/ messengers/ facilitators).
One or two Ludu were distributed to each CLC. Four learners can play the game at a time. The other learner can be present as observer of the game and also play by rotation. When learners play this game they should loudly read out the message of the game.
Through publicity and distribution mechanism of DAM sales center and Ahsania Mission Book Distribution House this material is available throughout Bangladesh as per demand from user organization.
The Agencies working for WATSAN are using this material extensively.

The material is widely used in the DAM CLC and also used by other GO & NGOs throughout the country.
Learners gave feedback that they like this material because they become aware of many important issues while playing this game, which is also entertaining.
The topics of the material are very much relevant to the target people's everyday life. Since it is one of the few entertaining CE materials available in the CLC, learners like it a lot.
